This course is to teach students the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity and how to defend against cyberattacks. In addition, the student will acquire the capability to identify and classify various cyber defense tools based on their security mechanisms and application domains. The students will learn the best cybersecurity practices that should be applied to detect and thwart each type of cyberattacks. Finally, the course aims to teach students how to implement secure software and hardware architectures and infrastructures.
